This book is truly the beginning of a breakthrough. It is better described as a poorly communicated thesis, a set of responses by others to the thesis, and then a response where the author finally gets his points out.
In brief, Morris suggests that core human values are evolutionary adaptations, but that these values are somewhat flexible and culturally adaptive. Easily one of my favorite sections of Marvel history! Kid-Loki is just adorable, you're going to love him!
Be sure to read Young Avengers volumes 1-3 to see further kid-Loki shenanigans!. If you're looking to get into iPhone programming specifically, you can do better than this book. Good recommendation!
