Editorial : About the Author John S. Stahley has a diversified background in the areas of engineering management, project management, commissioning management, and project engineering. His current responsibilities include the management of installation and commissioning activities for turbomachinery. His education includes an MBA in Management from St. Bonaventure University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Stahley has authored and presented several technical papers on the subject of dry gas seals.
Wonderfully illustrated book about days gone by in rural France. The company says its terms for commercial use are reasonable. I'm not even sure if she gives good guidance for how to answer the question.
Still, her thought is inspirational in how she questions the tradition of politics. Raises many questions, especially regarding the Aristotelian tradition and Alasdair MacIntyre's reconception of it today. Thus Socrates becomes interesting only when in peril.
Because so many of these papers were presented as reviews or for occasional purposes (such as lectures) perhaps this emphasis on the dramatic might be explained thus. We haven't had this novella translated into English before now. The flowing, organic style and glowing colors of Art Nouveau tile work has been beautifully captured here.
