EDITORIAL :

"Any library strong in rock music or songwriting needs Words and Music of Patti Smith: it provides a scholarly, college-level analysis of the lyrics of her punk music creations, surveys Dylan and other classic legends of inspiration that affected her life, and considers her influence in the 1970s New York rock scene as a whole. An excellent key to understanding both Patti Smith and the rock music of her times." - MBR: California Bookwatch
