There's a lot going on, but somehow the author manages to deal with all the topics without it becoming overwhelming. I thought the explanations on the cards were wordy and beyond the scope of GA Physical Science curriculum. I am a reluctant fan of the series. An artist needs to be able to illustrate a believable, natural setting as much as he needs to capture motion. Typical was his discussion of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, which he seems to reject as a technical trick with no benefit. The prose is delightful in content as well as intent, and is laced with a wisdom, so reminiscent of his most famous work, the Prophet.
