I agree with an earlier reviewer that this needs more examples. This is not that book.
There. While much of what we learnt can perhaps be extended to the real world, it is doubtful every generalization will work in practice. These reviews are geared to help any future buyers know what they will be getting and help future buyers be confident in what they purchase. Irwin's book is non-technical
and more historical than Bhagwati's. When a began going through their example questions and explanations, I found that, having finished my undergraduate degree 10 years ago, there were a lot of blanks that needed filling in.
So, I finally broke down and bought Kaplan GMAT Math Foundations. Furthermore, many others did some work for the Soviets, but then chose to walk away from that nation. Linda: Less is More
