Furthermore, they have even less tolerance of violence than farmers. I found the book to be a good introduction. He is devastated to learn of his intended wife's betrayal. I was surprised to see it listed as a child's book. He was most likely murdered by an Anglo-American team. I highly recommend this book!. There have been other critiques of economic theory in the past but Marglin's book is nevertheless a fresh and interesting addition to the list of critiques.
Marglin, however, fails to give justice to the second part of the book title 'How Thinking Like An Economist Undermines Community'. Unfortunately the author uses repetition to drive home a point which could have been easily deduced from reading the title of the book. Again, I am not sure why.
