REVIEW :
Morris segments the last twenty thousand years in three broadly successive systems of human values on a worldwide basis: Foraging values, farming values, and fossil-fuel values. One might have thought that that 'idealism' would have given way to a degree or two of realism in seeing the nature of the government for which they were betraying their own.. Regardless, I still found this book to be very informative. Worth reading, but no bombshells.
Afterword, 2002:
I've come to appreciate this volume more with time. Great read!. For adults, the book is a quick read. Just by reading Tenzin's experience of the cave can make one depressed.Or at least for me. Great job. I'm not even sure if she gives good guidance for how to answer the question.
Still, her thought is inspirational in how she questions the tradition of politics. I'm glad to see a female main character who is n
